Description
At the core of the Super Meteor 650 is our iconic parallel twin engine, which offers seamless gear transitions, strong low-end acceleration and an effortless throttle response.
Royal Enfield has updated its middleweight motorcycle portfolio by unveiling the Super Meteor 650. This cruiser motorcycle joins the Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 in the company’s middleweight portfolio. The motorcycle is powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled motor as the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine is tuned to deliver 47bhp of maximum output and 52.3Nm of peak torque.
The new Super Meteor 650 is built around a tubular steel frame and it uses 43mm upside-down front forks and dual rear shocks to handle the suspension tasks. Meanwhile, the braking setup includes a 320mm disc at the front and a 300mm rotor at the back while the safety net comprises dual-channel ABS. It also gets alloy wheels, a first in the company’s 650cc portfolio, and these are wrapped in 100/90 front and 150/80 rear tubeless tyres.
